• Attack (Bite) – Attack Roll D8, +0 Damage • Special Ability – When a Giant Spider successfully damages an enemy, the enemy becomes Poi soned for the remainder of the combat. Their Muscle Trait is Bumped Down one level. If this reduces the Muscle Attribute to zero, the Adventurer is para lyzed. Poisoned effects from Gi ant Spider bites do not stack. • Special Ability – The Giant Spi der foregoes its Bite and shoots a web at its intended victim. At tack Roll D8. This attack does no Damage, but anyone hit by the web is entangled. They can take no actions in their turn save for attempting to break free, which requires a D12 Muscle Challenge. • Villainy Points – 0 GOblIN A goblin is a small, green hu manoid creature. They are quick and nimble. Most of them are hideous, filthy, boil–cov ered hillbillies, but occasionally one might be quite handsome and so phisticated.

When a Goblin is attacked (but before the Attack Challenge is rolled), Roll a D6. If a 6 is rolled, the goblin dodg es, automatically succeeding in a combat challenge. • Villainy Points – 0 GrIFFON T he Griffon is a fearsome pred ator with the head and wings of a Giant Eagle and the body of a Lion. Griffons hate Manticores more than anything else.

It can hover out of the range of Melee Attacks (assuming its ene mies cannot fly). While hovering, it can only use its Roar ability. • Special Ability – The Griffon foregoes its Melee Attack and Roars. This booming Roar can stun up to four enemies. The enemies must make an D10 Will
